| The renovation of this small two bedroom summer cottage in the Berkshires transformed the dark cottage built in the 1940s into an open, airy and inviting place to enjoy lush forest surroundings. The original structure of the main living space made of beautiful honey colored pine rafters was uncovered and lit making it a rich architectural focal point. A large new screened in porch was added to create a summer living room. The rest of the house was extensively renovated and reconfigured to maximize every square foot of the small existing floor plan. | |||||
